My tomatoes are looking good.
So far 5 out of six plants have fruit except for my heirloom which is taking its own sweet time of it. I think I may have a giant plant on my hands. We’ll see.
My Early Girl has one giant tomato growing on it and it is still pretty green. There a couple of blooms and little tomatoes starting to grow. I’ve heard something about picking off blooms or fruit or something to make the plant produce more…or something :P
My question is, should I pick the giant tomato? Will it take away from the production of the other tomatoes on the vine? Or should I just wait until it is ripe?
