Help! My tomatoes have spots. Here's the run-down: *Big Boy tomatoes have black spots that aren't on the entire surface of tomatoes and doesn't seem to appear on tomatoes until they get somewhat large-- none of the babies have them from the start, only when they get to be about the size of a kiwi fruit. *The plant itself looks great. No spots or damage to the leaves, no wilting or color change. A few spots on the stem near where affected fruit is. *No spots on the tomatoes on my Roma Grapes UNLESS they are on the side close to the Big Boys. *Spots only seem to be skin deep, don't affect the flesh. *I use no pesticides. *I called my local extension office and she suggested stink bug damage, rather than bacterial spot. In this picture you see the fruit with all the spots and then the one next to it only has 1 spot on the whole fruit. Then 3 days later the one with the 1 spot is now turning red and has more spots. This is the only picture I could get showing what the branches near the affected fruits look like.
