Tomato storm damage
I was gone yesterday and I guess we had a helluva storm with very high winds. I didn't realize how bad it was and just went out to see if things needed to be watered...my tomato plants were all over the place. Three are fine, needed to be restaked, but one, my Caspian Pink, looked like it was in desperate need of watering. It appears that it may have snapped at the base of the main stem. :( I staked it back up, watered well, and rushed to my computer for advice... Can this tomato plant be saved, or should I go out and get another tomato plant to take its place? On a happier note, I dug up a bunch of day lilies at my mom's house yesterday. Am going to plant those in a bit. I love day lilies!
