Too much rain!

Too much rain!

Hi all, It's been raining constantly in San Francisco (Zone 10) for the past two months. In February, I planted a Kwanzan cherry tree outside our house, and shortly thereafter, the rains started. Now the poor tree is wrinkled up like your fingers get when you've been in the bathtub too long, and I'm worried that all the water is going to stress it out. What should I do? Basically, everything else in the garden - the roses, the tree ferns, etc - are brown from too much rain, and I'm just hoping it stops raining soon. Today has been nice so far. The garden has some bare spots where I need to re-plant some things, but I'm worried about planting anything new - don't want things drowning. What do you think - should I hold off until it's been dry at least a few weeks, or go ahead and plant anyway? Thanks!
