Tooth Problem

Tooth Problem

I had a tooth filled at the very end of October. I haven't had all that many problems with my teeth in the past, so this is pretty new to me. Yesterday, the damn filling popped out (stuck in a piece of candy). I put a call in to the dentist (she doesn't work weekends), but I am really nervous about this. a) Will I be billed for having it re-filled? Because if so, my insurance will not cover it. It's only been a month and a half. I get new insurance in January, but for one thing, I don't want to leave a hole in my tooth for a month, and for another thing, my new insurance only covers 80%, plus a $50 deductible. (The old insurance had the deductible, which I already paid for the year, but then covered 100% of the cost of the filling... but they told me that you can't have the same tooth filled again within 36 months.) b) Are there any tricks in the meantime for things like, um, eating? Because I'm trying to chew only on one side of my mouth, but it hurts like hell if water (or anything else) so much as touches it. I've been drinking my coffee with a straw this morning. :) I'm a big baby about the dentist to begin with, so I'm really stressed about this, and the financial aspect is not helping. Thanks in advance. :)
