Traveling Inexpensively

Traveling Inexpensively

I'm going to Atlanta for a long weekend in October. I'm only going because I was able to get MAJORLY cheap tickets. This will be my first time traveling-I have never even been outside of Wisconsin. I'm taking my daughter-so I'm just trying to find ways that we can have a good time during our long weekend for as cheap as possible. Anybody here familiar with Atlanta? Is it necessary for me to get a rental car-or can we pretty much access a lot via public transportation? Any tips would be helpful-as I'm hoping to start taking these long weekends to places with my daughter and I want us to keep it as inexpensive as we possibly can. Thanks in advance.
