Tropical hibiscus… mmm, good tea?
Hmm! Does anyone here have an idea about if Tropical Hibiscus flowers can be used in teas, and if something should be done to make it, um, suitable for making tea of? I hear in the US there's a special variety of Hibiscus (Hibiscus Sabdariffa?) that is often used for making tea, but... can any Hibiscus be used for tea? I have some really pretty bright yellows and reds, a strange orange one with a purple center, a sand coloured one... but I wouldn't dare drink it without any advice on the matter.
