I hope this is appropriate for the community... I know that a lot of us use antennas, so I thought this might be a good place to ask. One of my friends just bought a new TV, and gave me her old one (mine was on its last legs). I have it hooked up to an antenna (same as my old one). I normally get pretty good reception that way. The problem is, every so often on the NEW tv, all stations switch to snow. Not just fuzzy, "you need to tune in the station better", but completely gone on ALL channels. A minute or so later, it will come right back on its own. This didn't happen on the old tv... the stations would of course get fuzzy from time to time (depending on the weather, mostly), but it never just totally blanked out like that. Do you think it's a problem with the TV, the connection, or the antenna? I'm giving my old TV away (it still works, the picture is just starting to go), but I'd hate to do that and then find out that the new one isn't working. Any suggestions?
