This was given to me as a seedling and has been kept in a container for a couple of years. It’s usually a greenish blue, but now it’s getting olive-drab patches on some of the leaves, and some are curling and, I think, going brittle. I don’t recall it getting those small brownish patches before, either.
Any idea what might be causing this? It sits next to an eroding brick wall, and the wall drops bits of mortar and brick every now and again. And my husband has been sanding a door nearby, and I’ve hosed off the hostas without regard for how much sun might hit their wet leaves. And we have a German Shepherd, although I don’t believe he has ever anointed the hostas…
I’d hate to lose it — it has sentimental value.
