This morning I called someone at the base housing office to find out about taking the plants. I told him how heartbroken I was/am about the situation and he said he understood, but he wasn’t sure he could give me an answer yet. He said he would give me a call back. He hasn’t called back yet (I am thinking I accidentally gave him a mixture of my cellphone number and my house number– I was late and packing my lunch for work while talking with him) so I am going to call him in the morning.
