Update on found cellphone and question:
Update: I posted that I found a cell phone at a bus stop the other day. Finally I was able to take it to the mall where an aquiantance of mine who works at the cell phone store (dunno his name but I ring him up for energy drinks nearly every day) charged up the phone and found out it was a Quest phone. Not trusting the cell phone people, I went into her call logs, found "Mom" and dialed. "Hello, ma'am? Did your daughter lose her cell phone?" (Young womanish voice) "No, that was me!!!" So I told her where I work and she asked me if I could leave the phone at the counter for her to pick up. I'm happy she didn't have to blow hundreds of dollars replacing her fairly nice phone. ------ My question: Priceline.com, etc, I am looking to fly (has to be flight) to the Philippines in may, most likely for the first two weeks. I will be staying at this hotel. I need to fly there as cheaply as possible though, because I need to be able to buy a cheapo beater of a car when I get back and also be able to save enough to move out in November. I am trying to fly, sleep in the hotel, and have fun for under $2,000, but I dunno how feasible that is. I have heard that possibly imperial palace might have lowered their rates to $25 a night. Anyone have tips on where I can save and cut corners? This is my first trip by myself (I'm 20) and I'm REALLY excited about it, I HAVE to do it, but I don't wanna go over my budget. Also, where can I get a passport cheap? Mine is expired. Do they take passport photos at walmart?
