taken during a torrential downpour.
I've got it pruned into a pretty upright pattern, but it still puts too much shade on the garden and yields neither nuts nor fruit, no flowers for whildlife or man. So next year its coming down. So what I'm looking to replace it with is a medium size tree with a fairly upright habit that returns something other than unncessary shade. Please no lectures about not cutting it down, that's not even remotely one of the choices. I'm a firm believer that a weed is a plant out of place.
