i'm in the market for a good vacuum cleaner, hoping for advice from y'all. i live in an antique house (100 this year) that's in the transition stages of renovation (no active construction, though). 90% of the floors on the bottom level are original wood, some painted, some not, so it's got all the grooves between the boards (dirt houses). right now, i sweep & use my hand vac for the most part. i have 2 single rugs in my entire house. the kicker? 4 dogs, 3 cats. so a couple of questions are, 1) if you have pets, what's the best vacuum you've had for pet hair? 2) is it really worth vacuuming bare floors (i know this is opinion)?
also, i need something with great
attatchments, considering my cats own my furniture downstairs.
sidenote: i barrowed a friend's dyson (not the animal) & was impressed with the furniture attatchment, but have yet to use it on my carpet. also, i've heard mixed reviews on them. also downside, i'm a college student with minimal income, but i want something good. i mean, if it's worth it i'll spend it.
(i checked the memories, but nothing was helpful)
