Hemerocallis ‘Woodside Ruby’
I was never a big fan of daylilies, but I’m converted thanks to this particular beauty which was a gift from my mother-in-law. I’d been waiting for it to bloom for what felt like forever and to my delight my daylily ‘Woodside Ruby’ bloomed on Independence Day.
And now I begin waiting again, this time on my lemon tree which won’t bloom for months in the best case scenario, and most likely just isn’t ready to fruit this year at all. Are there any plants you have desperately wanted to bloom or produce and was it as awesome as you’d hoped?
