welcome to my house :)

welcome to my house :)

I live in Washington DC (Georgetown, actually, disgustingly overpriced zip code!). I'm a grad student and I just moved in a month ago... this is my first time living solo and most of my stuff is beg/borrowed/stolen from my parents/college friends/etc. It's little and it's not designer quality but I love it. This is my FAVORITE thing in the apartment. It's a quilt made out of old horse show ribbons that my mom had made for me. Sorry for the little pictures - LJ and I were not getting along today! Click on them for larger (read: real) versions! Entry way... closet door and you can see into the living room. My desk. Futon with quilt over it, makeshift coffee table, etc. TV, books, DVDs, etc. I have so many more books at my parents - I need to bring them down here! "Dining room" Now the kitchen :) Decorations above the sink :) Tiny stove with tiny tea kettle. View of the balcony from the kitchen door. I live across the street from a huge estate so I have a great view... except that the bus stops RIGHT under my balcony. Awesome. Only not really. Bathroom! close up in the shower :) Bedroom! Bed, obviously. I love my duvet cover/down comforter! My two closets (the dresser is between them) - purses/bags/dressy clothes/shoes on the left, jeans/hoodies/sweats/flipflops and my wristlet collection on the right. Dresser. Balcony doors/little table. I have no windows in this room, just doors. View of the other wall - pictures, doorway to hall, etc.
