It has been so wet here that i had to bail out the pond yesterday. We also had thunder storms. Some of the flower buds have rotted before they could even open, especially the geraniums and fusias. The dalias seem to be ok and the white one has flowered. The day lillies ate also looking good and flowering profusely. The flower tower is also beging to look like a waterfall of flowers and doesn,t seem to bothered by the rain at the moment. They say this is going to clear up by the weekend, i hope so or we will have to buy a boat, lol.I suppose the posative side of all this water is we haven,t had to water all the containers twice a day and everything is looking lush. We have picked up and disposed off hundreds of snails and they still keep coming, but reatively few slugs thank goodness.I am sitting up here at the computer and looking out off the window, all i can see is depressingly grey sky,dark grey at that. Perhaps things will improve tomorrow. They say when things are really bad they can only get better, so lets live in hope.
