what my work covers
I went to the pharmacy today and had to pay forty bloody dollars for Plan B. (Oh yeah, I'm the idiot who was asking about birth control my last entry, you can see I'm really doing well over here.) According to the pharmacist, my work may pay for this. I have no idea how my health benefits at my job work, because normally I'm covered under my father's health whatever (I don't even know what it is). So here are my questions. Note I live in Ontario, Canada. 1. If my father's thing covers this, can I use it now that I've already paid and get some money back? 1a. Will it show up anywhere that he could see I've bought this? (My father is the manager, if that has any effect.) Even if I can't use it now that I've already paid, I'd like to know in case I have to use this route again for some reason. 2. Does my minimum wage job cover pills like Plan B which are completely unrelated to work and I'm only taking because of my own stupidity? (Apparently I have health benefits, or so my job says all over it's store, but I'd have to talk to my manager. I just don't want to go in and talk to my manager and find out that my health benefits, if I have them, don't cover Plan B, because I'd feel kind of awkward asking them to pay for this.) Sigh. I feel dumb asking how the Canadian health system works when I've, you know, lived in Canada all my life.
