A while back we were discussing starting avocado pits a-sproutin’. There were good arguments for the semi-submerged-in-water routine, and good arguments for half-buried-in-moist-rich-dirt scheme.
I tried the latter. The pit split, but no tree shot forth.
I mean, it’s cute and everything, this baby “Audrey II”, but not exactly what I had in mind.
So let’s reopen the case: what’s the surest way to start an avocado tree?
