Hi all, I’m hoping someone can help me with this poor shrub. First, what is it? My Internet image searches have led me to think it’s a wiegala.
Second, when we bought the house six years ago, the shrub was beautiful. It bloomed every year, sometimes twice a year. Every branch was full and alive. Suddenly this year it’s filled with dead branches. What gives? I hope it’s not truly dying.
The only different thing I did was put mulch around it last summer. I bought an “eco mulch.” It’s described as: “a natural product that has been made from double ground and composted brush and yard trimmings. Decorative, easy to spread and very beneficial for both soil and plants.” I thought it made sense: recycled stuff.
What is this?
