Hello.
I live in zone 5 and have been gardening off and on for about five years.
This February I am moving out of my parent’s house and I would like to winter sow some annuals in the backyard garden that are low maintenence so they will come up in the spring after I’m gone.
My problem is that I’m unsure of what kinds of flowers you can winter sow. And I’m unsure exactly HOW to winter sow.
Do you just sprinkle the seeds on top of the ground and cover with soil?
And what types of flowers should I consider winter sowing?
