yesterday’s plant venture
yesterday was somewhat of a let-down. At Lowe’s, I found these really pretty yellow and green bushes that I wanted. Unfortunately, there was some confusion over the prices. My parents thought they were seven dollars, but right at the check-out line, the cashier rang them up. They cost $16 dollars each, so I didn’t get any bushes. But I got tree food! I’m so happy. I’m probably going to feed them today; I didn’t know if it was going to rain yesterday. The sky looked weird. I was wanting to wait on the bushes anyway ‘cause I don’t have much in my checking account since buying a new computer. Plus I really, really want to see some leaves on my Oklahoma Redbud and my Kwanzan. As for my garden or my “patch” since it won’t actually grow anything to eat… I want it to be as self-sufficient as possible. I expect to water the plants when they first arrive, but otherwise… I also want it to be nature-friendly for bunnies and other animals, which I’m sure most plants are. I'm so excited I got tree food! ^_^ It's miracle grow, just like you said. And it sounds really cool, one stick per season? Soon, my trees will be sprouting green!
