most of you are already used to me asking what i have growing in my garden, as you’ve all identified the entire garden for me! thanks for that, but things keep growing, and i keep questioning, so help me out again, please!
this tree is approximately a 12 footer. i recently spied some white blossoms growing on it. i found that surprising!
what is it?

these pinkish flowers close when the evening comes. my mother in-law told me that you usually find them in the really old gardens here in ireland.
she didn’t know what they were called. is it a type of mallow?

these strange things have started to pop up. looks a lot like lavender buds, but it certainly isn’t. they have no smell. my M-IL said they are a weed here. i’ve seen them growing on lawns, even. weed or not, i like them where they are, but what exactly are they?

now perhaps this is pushing it, but hey, i’m in a new climate, and i’d also like to know what grows here. i find these crazy things to be a wonderful sight! they grow down the road from me. they are massive!
what are they? they have purple flowers on them. i should have taken pics in the beginning of spring, as the flowers are dying out.

i’d also like to know what these are. i’d love to grow them in the garden bed out front. sorry it’s not so clear, but i felt weird about taking photos of someones house!

this actually grows in my garden. it’s attached to a tree, approximately 10 feet tall. while digging around in the weeds, i found a tag, and quickly looked it up. apparently it belonged to this tree, which is a member of the tea tree family, and it’s called “LEPTOSPERMUM RED DAMASK.”

and just a share.. in NYC i had the purple Aromatica, but this time i picked up the white. it smells like vanilla, yum!
