Another car insurance question

Another car insurance question

On an application I recently filled out the company asked for the names and drivers license numbers of my roommates. I thought that was too personal and unnecessary so I didn't fill it out. Just now a guy from the company called to confirm the info on my application, including that, and I told him I had no roommates. Bad idea? I really think that info is none of their business and should have no bearing on my insurance application/coverage. I mean, especially since there would NEVER be ANY circumstance in which either of them would need to or be able to use my car (in fact, we don't even park our cars in the same AREA). Is it okay to withhold this info or should I come clean? Thoughts? Thanks. EDIT: I called up the company and they said my insurance was approved and I'll be getting the final paperwork in a week. At that time I plan on calling them up and telling them I left that part of the ap blank 'cause I couldn't remember how to spell my roommates name or something like that and get it taken care of. Better safe than sorry! I was just concerned about them considering my roommates when rating my insurance. Thanks everyone!
