Banana Split Cake?

Banana Split Cake?

At work we have this potluck deal on Fridays. Yesterday we all had to bring in something with bananas, and a girl brought in something she called Banana Split Cake. It was basically banana pudding, banana slices, pretzel sticks, pineapple sundae topping and whipped cream. It was really good, but it got me to thinking. I have a recipe from Cool Whip for something called a Pineapple Lush Cake or something. You take an angel food cake, slice it into layers, and put cool whip mixed with vanilla pudding mix and crushed pineapple on it. (I can find the recipe for it if anybody's interested.) What I'm thinking is slicing the angel food cake into layers. Mixing cool whip with -banana- flavored pudding mix. Slicing some strawberries. Putting a layer of strawberries on the first layer of angel food cake, top it with the cool whip. Add second layer of angel food cake and put crushed pineapple on it, top with cool whip. Add third layer of angel food cake and topping with plain cool whip and maraschino cherries. But, I have a couple of questions for you lovely people: 1. Foresee any problems with it? 2. More importantly, how would I go about incorporating Chocolate? And...I guess serving it, too. It'd get kind of tall. I haven't actually _made_ the Pineapple Dream Lush or whatever it's called. Any ideas would be fantastic. Thanks!
