Ok ladies and gents. I need your help. My husband and I have this account through Capital Horizon Bank which actually calls itself Higher One: Marshall U One. This bank came out with online bill pay and since we didn't have any checks we were using their service. We used it many times succesffuly. We used it to pay a debt, rent, electric, and a late payment to Blockbuster. Everything seemed fine. Then I get an email saying there was an error for a payment. The payment was to begin processing on 7/29/2005. This was also the day I submitted the payment online to send 500.00 for rent to my landlord. 8/17/2005 I get an email from them. , Your Online Bill Payment for St. John Chrysostom ROC for $500.00 scheduled for payment on 07/29/2005 could not be successfully processed. The paper payment mailed was returned by the Post Office. The payee has not been paid for this scheduled payment. This individual payment will not be automatically processed again. If you wish to re-attempt making this payment through Online Bill Pay, please schedule a new One-Time Payment. If you have questions or concerns, you can contact customer service securely by using EasyHelp. To use EasyHelp, login and choose "Customer Service", then "EasyHelp" from the menu bar. Respectfully, Higher One Customer Service I have no clue why it would have been sent back by the post office. Makes no sense to me. Two payments with the same address and information were successful in reaching St. John Chrysostome ROC for my rent. So according to their email, I processed a re-attempt. This payment was submitted on 818/2005. I got an email from them on 8/31. Dear Arlie C, Your Online Bill Payment for St. John Chrysostom ROC for $500.00 scheduled for payment on 08/18/2005 could not be successfully processed. The paper payment mailed was returned by the Post Office. The payee has not been paid for this scheduled payment. This individual payment will not be automatically processed again. Respectfully, Higher One Customer Service Now its just gotten absurd. I called customer service and left voice messages with the supervisor and this is the response I got back this morning. Dear Arlie, Thank you for contacting Customer Service. We are sending the checks where you requested, that is what is guaranteed in regards to our 'Online Bill Pay Guarantee'. Please discontinue using the service if you do not find this to be useful. We will not waive the $29.00 stop paynment fee. If you have any further questions please contact Customer Service. Customer Service I can't think of what else to say. But maybe if someone asks something I can explain more. Thanks for your help! arlie
