BEES!

BEES!

Yes, bees. Thankfully we have plenty of them around the neighborhood this year, and I've been seeing tons in the garden... and this afternoon, I found out why. They're living in my house. In the wall, behind the bricks, under the kitchen window. There are bees trapped in the kitchen window right now. This is terrible! I've been so thrilled to see them this year considering the declining bee population, and they're not agressive at all--I'm pretty sure they're of the European variety. I don't want to kill the little guys off, and I really don't want to see them gone, but having combs in the wall can cause damage to the house, not to mention my sister-in-law is scared to death of them. So anyone here a beekeeper? Have experience with this sort of thing? Is it possible to relocate the hive or somehow coax the queen out, or is she some kind of disturbing egg factory now? Help help!
