Cleaning drinking glasses

Cleaning drinking glasses

I have a couple of those super narrow drinking glasses, and they are always a horrid to clean as you can't get a washing cloth inside them because they are so narrow. The other day in completely frusteration, I tried a pinch of used coffee grounds inside and swished them around with some water. It got all the gucky stuff off of the bottom and they came out sparkingly clean. I tried it on the jar I constantly make ice tea in, and it cleaned the build up off the bottom as well. I figured I'd pass this tip with the hope that it will help someone. I know in this community we are not exactly in the position that we can throw out glasses that are annoying to clean to buy new ones. ;)
