cornbread muffins with muffin liners?
Hi! I'm making a 15 bean soup for dinner tomorrow, and really wanted to make some cornbread muffins to nom with it, but last time I made them, I forgot to dry my muffin pan after washing it (doh >.<) and it rusted a slight bit. I have some cupcake liners, and I was wondering if I made cornbread muffins, and used cupcake liners in the pan, would they come out okay? Or, is it safe to use the pan as long as it's not really bad rusted? I tried rewashing, and then oiling it down, and no go. Really, they're just some slight little specs here and there. I really want to make sure that we can have some cornbread, since we're broke and need to make the soup stretch for several meals, and don't have the money to go buy another pan. Or, if that's not an option, my cornbread is two boxes of jiffy cornbread mix...could I make it in a 13x9 cake pan?
