Does anyone have experience growing daylilies from seeds? I've harvested a few from my garden, and as I think at least some of them are cross pollenations I'm excited to grow them and see how they turn out. Even if they're not prize-wining new cultivars (yeah, right), I'm curious and would like to plant them in a new area of my yard. Also, they're quite tasty and pretty in salads. :-D Anyway, I'm trying to figure out when the best time to start my seeds would be and what I should do with them in the mean time. I know that these seeds will proabably need a cold period (in the fridge!) to come out of dormancy, so I'm also wondering if I could just tuck them in back in a plastic bag or if I"m going to have to find a way to store pots in my refridgerator for weeks. :-P Help!
