Fixing a hole
So; my landlord just now, finally got around to hanging doors and putting in door knobs for the bedrooms/bathroom. My son, in typical 3yo boy style (even though he's six -- long story) slammed open his door, and put a hole in the dry wall. *sigh* I looked through the memories, but didn't see anything. I've Googled it, and read everything the DIY sites say to do, and put it up on my local freecycle for the materials needed. However, I was hoping someone here maybe knew of another short cut? I can't afford drywall and spackle, and if my landlord sees it she's going to charge me to fix the wall, and I can't afford that either. So help? Also, if anyone knows a way to make a doorstop without buying them? Please to be sharing. I don't want to fix it only to have him break it again! Edit: My apologies. I think 'door stop' is what the problem is. I need something small, attachable to either the door or the wall that cannot be removed, and is (preferably) small/unobtrusive. This is the bedroom door to my son's room that has caused the hole and I don't want him to be able to move it.
