Help……

Hi there, thanks for the advice the last time. I'm the lady in Tx who had just purchased a bunch of plants and was worried about doing the wrong thing. Things seem like they're ok except for the pittosporum...it has chronic yellow leaves, and leaf drop! While there is also new growth shooting out, it yellows just as rapidly and ends up falling off. Reason for concern?? I don't think it's so much transplant shock anymore. I did notice on one of the stems a kind've white powdery ball that easily scraped off. I also saw a similar powder on one of the oleander leaves. There a few yellows on the oleander, but I'm not overly worried because I hear that oleander can be leggy, and the yellow is on the bottom. BTW, my Texas sage is rather sparse on the bottom. Is that normal? Thank you :) I'd post a pic but my front lawn doesn't look like much.
