help making food that tastes good using only what I’ve got
Money is beyond tight right now due to part of my household being laid off. So we're having to make-do with what we have in the house food-wise for now. I'm hungry for dinner, am out of leftovers, and am trying to figure out what to cook. Something which utilizes ingredients well, has as good nutrition as it can, and tastes good. Here's what I've got: soy milk rice milk staple drygoods (rice, flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt, etc.) assorted pasta (small as well as long noodles) tinned tuna tinned veg instant oatmeal grits tinned fruit peanut butter fresh cucumber fresh lettuce sour cream hamburger buns frozen chicken breasts frozen fish coconut milk one can of cream of something soup frozen veg, green beans I think they are dry beans assorted spices, some exotic NOTE: We do NOT have a microwave.
