I am looking at a house to buy. Its a decent house, a fantastic yard, and a load of acres. Problem is, its located on a branch off a river. Its a bit swampy. The bigger problem is that there are thousands of horseflies. No joke thousands and thousands! I live in Northern Florida. The house is right at the Florida/Alabama border. Anyone have ideas on how to dramatically lessen the amount of these things? Theres a well with a pond. It has some small fish in it. The realtor suggested making a large pond with fish to rid the property of the flies. Do you think that would get rid of so many? Any ideas? Please help!
