I should have given more info, I apologize
Thank you for ALL of your comments. I normally would take the time to reply to each one but since there was SOOOO many and most of them had to deal with my hubby having to give me child support I thought that I would clarify this way. My husband is my daughters biological father. (Here is the confusing part) He does not have legal rights. Long story short (hopefully) I got pregnant at 16. Her father (now my hubby) didn't want anything to do with her or I, being we were so young, he was still very immature (still is, but is better). So, he signed over his rights. At 18 I married a guy from church, we were married for a couple years, and he adopted my daughter. He then turned into a heavy drug addict and could not clean up. We divorced and we agreed that it was best for him NOT to have visitation with her since he was on drugs 24/7. So, he said in the divorce decree that it was NOT in the childs best interest for her to visit him. Since he agreed to that I decided to not accept child support. I wouldn't have gotten squat anyway because he never worked. After the divorce me and her bio-father reunited, and married. I hope that makes sense. So, my husband is not required to pay child support for our daughter (if we were to divorce). Kinda sad, I know...but that's my situation. So, there is no father to give me child support for my 7 year old. He would of course have to give me child support for our unborn baby, but I am holding out hope that we will be able to work things out and we won't have to resort to divorce. And yes, I am 33 (almost 34) weeks pregnant so I cannot find a job right now. I am going to sell AVON, but I've done it before and you don't make millions off the bat. I have to build my clientel first. And yes, when the baby is 6 weeks old I will find a job. So, what I am needing is support from now until one of two things happen. 1- my husband and I make up, or 2- the baby is 6 weeks old and I can get a job. So with that being said, any advice? I've already been given some good advice and I am willing to try it all. For one, I will call United Way. I will talk to my WIC and Food Stamp worker. Any other services/programs that could help me?
