laundry poor skills
i just put in some laundry and remembered my favorite frugal tip! use white vinegar as fabric softener. seriously. i think it works better than dryer sheets and the like, just feel your soft fluffy towels when you get them out of the dryer! i splash a generous amount (it probably ends up being about a cup maybe, but i've read things that say even less) in my washing machine as it starts filling up. thats it, dry as usual. it is especially good if you line dry because you aren't putting it in the dryer and it doesn't leave that greasy film that some liquid fabric softeners do. and white vinegar is like, 60 cents for a few gallons of it. trust me, it works perfectly every time.
