Moving and the sights

Moving and the sights

So. On August 1st, I'm moving from my stagnated, entrenched flat, about 300 miles away. I've got the packing thing handled. I'm not taking any furniture, packing only the essentials, and have donated tonnes of stuff to Salvation Army, etc, etc. That's not the problem. The problem is I'm going to be in the car for 5+ hours with twin 9yos. This is not my idea of fun. So, I'm looking for sights along the way (preferably free/low cost) where we can stop and break the monotony. It doesn't need to be super fancy. Cheesy and dorky is welcome. Our Route: Ashtabula, OH to Cincinnati, OH Anyone have a must see along that route? We don't mind going slightly out of our way, but I'd like to stay as close to the route as possible. This is our big summer adventure, and I'd like to make it an adventure if I can, for the kids. They're getting so much change at once, that fun needs to be had. Edit: Since it's been brought up: I want something short to look at. Nothing like a zoo, where it'll take several hours. Just something that'll take a short amount of time to wander through to break the monotony of the road.
