On the tons of uses for something idea
I am not sure about any of you. But around our house EVERYTHING has a 2nd life if possible. Sometimes 3 or 4 of them. It's partialy the hippy in us from my upbringing, and partialy becuase we feel it's what the earth would want us to do, then the other part is saving money. So with that in mind I thought I would remind everybody, and let some people who might not have thought of it yet...uses for condiment bottles and the such after they are empty. BEFORE using any though, make sure you wash them very well! 1) Coin jars...even pennis can add up! 2) Sauce holders: A lot of times we make our meats in sauces, and make to much sauce. So we take the extra and pour it a jar for next time. Which by the way is a money saver as well! 3) Jell-0 or Pudding cups...can use em about a billion times for those 4) Salad dressing jars...for some dressings it is actualy cheaper to make your own 5) Spice jars...salt, pepper, whatever 6) Holding various things around the house that really doesn't go anywhere else. Toothpicks, buttons, matchbooks, beads, sewing needles, dice from games. 7) If you make your own jam's, or jellies you can just reuse a jar you had before. 8) You can have your own Yahtzee game. 5 dice, a jar, piece of paper and a pencil...there you go..travel yahzee 9) We use them a lot as pen and pencil holders in every room. 10) They rock for projects. Painting, egg colouring, beading, cooking, science projects with the kids, planting some seeds just to start,.
