So, quick question. I purchased some bulbs recently, some nice calla lilies. Now, while in the packaging before they were planted, the green points had started to grow. Problem was, in the package, the bulbs were not right side up. So, in accordance with nature, the green spikes grew towards what was up at the time. They are now, "J" shaped laying across the bulb. If I put the bulb in roots down/points up, the points are laying on their sides pointing towards the side of the pot. Now, my question is, is it better to put the bulb in the right way and let the points find their way to the top and lift themselves up? Or, is it better to lay the bulbs on their sides with the points pointing up? Or does not not make a lot of difference? I feel bad for my poor baby callas.
