Since this community is all about getting the best deals through ad comping, coupons, etc., here's a warning for anyone working with Wal-Mart. I just found this out today and didn't see anything about it in the memories. It's a LOT stupid, but according to my higher-ups, Wal-Mart generally does not price-match among in-company stores, nor does it price-match its own website. Basically, if one Wal-mart has an item cheaper than another Wal-Mart, you must go to the Wal-mart that has the cheaper item to get it at that price. Same thing with Wal-Mart.com. Some stores may be more lenient than other, but it's a general no-no. Outside stores (like K-Mart, CVS, etc.) are fine as long as the other price is not a 1) Buy-x-Get-x offer 2) x% off offer 3) in-store only coupon/discount (like the price of something if bought with a store rewards card). Sorry if this is old news, but I figured I'd share in case it wasn't.
