Quick question with a bit of exposition…

When I moved into my apartment, it was with a friend of mine. Our electricity bill hadn't been more than $100/month for the entire time -- from July to March. We acquired another roommate, who knocked the bill from $100 to $230. I was fine with paying it, but I've been in the process of moving my things out of my apartment - I lost my job a few months ago, so I'm moving in with my mum. It's a gradual process, so for the past month, I haven't been at my apartment for more than an hour total to move things out. The electricity bill came to a ridiculous amount -- my question is...if I'm not using the electricity, why the hell am I paying for it? It's the last bill, and I don't want to stick my one roommate with it, but...it's a lot of money. What's the protocol here? Do I just suck it up and pay it, or do I confront the second one? I know it sounds bitchy, but it's like...she's so goddamn wasteful - she leaves the air on 73ºF when she's not home (which is half the day), and then drops it lower to go to sleep.
