Secret Garden!

Secret Garden!

As I mentioned recently, I'm developing what I call my "secret garden". This runs between the trees next to the fence and the shrubbery that borders the lawn. To the right is a very large fir tree under which at the moment I am storing loads of old stones. There is a York path laid down and daffodils and primroses everywhere in the Spring. But now these have gone it looks a little drab. The Christmas roses are also finished - there is a large group just out of sight on the right of the pic. So a lot of the bluebells from the front garden have to be transplanted during the next couple of weeks. There is a lilac that will be pretty in a couple of weeks and I like the way it is completely seperate from the rest of the garden. I am cutting a small arch through the shrubbery at one point so you can look through it from the main garden. I am hoping to get a statue of some sort in amongst the saved stones which you will see from a distance. I can't find anything I like so far so am haunting old builders yards in hope. Pic under cut: Oh and the second pic is the little yellow rose that has rushed into bloom under my dining room window! It is also rioting under bedroom window as well. If anyone knows its name, I'd be grateful. It climbs and spreads without any looking after at all.
