Study abroad loans

Study abroad loans

I'm trying to study in the Philippines, I just spent the most amazing two weeks of my life there (I'm American). I am currently not in college nor have I ever been. I'm studying for the SATs to apply at a couple of universities over there. The question is though, how I can pay for it should my SAT scores be high enough to get in. The main school I want to get into as I understand it has no financial aid at all available for foreigners, but the tuition is the equivelent of USD $1,000 or so a semester, so it's an excellent value. I see a lot of sites online that give private student loans. They are all annoying hard to use for their online application forms, and a lot of them let me start the damn form before asking me what school I currently go to (none). Is it realistic at all for me (I'm 21) to get a private loan to study abroad? Does anyone have any recommendations? I really don't know crap about loans/aid since I didn't pay attention in high school, I though I was going into the military (I didn't). I really don't care one bit what the interest rates are, as long as I can pay for school and leave this crappy life of mind-numbing wage-slavery behind I will be about 1 million times happier as a person. How likely am I to be able to get a student loan with zero credit? Also, my parents nor anyone else will back me on the loan, so completely not an option. I am by myself.
