Unfinished compost question.

Unfinished compost question.

I have a compost tumbler that's mostly full but in varying states of being "finished". We (read: my husband) weren't always very good at chopping things up to speed the process and I'd like to start a new batch with the aim of being better about it. We're planting a hedge of bamboo soon that I'll be digging a substantial trench for and I'd like to toss the current batch in there along with a number of other amendments. So my question would be is there any potential for harm to what is about to be a substantial investment in bamboo as a result of using unfinished compost? I realize it may not be as nutrient rich as it could be, but I really just want to get it out of my tumbler and start over at this point.
