When will it stop snowing?
Northern Michigan, Zone 5 This Spring has been horrible. Yesterday, it snowed. The week+ preceding yesterday was warm (up into the 70s). It's usually done snowing in April and we're able to plant by Mothers Day. The drop in temps was a real surprise. People had thought the cold temps were over with. I planted some seeds and bulbs. I'm sure they'll do fine as the snow hasn't stuck and the soil has remained relatively warm. However, I had ordered plants (lots of them) from catalogs and they were shipped to me during our heat spell. I couldn't keep them in their packages any longer (we were having important company come in) so I decided to take a chance. Of course, it snows. I could curse at the weather. They've been drenched for the past 2 days in cold rain and it's supposed to continue for a day or two more. So, I just had to rant...stupid Northern Michgan <--- Totally detached from the rest of the U.S. I hope atleast half of them survive :(
