If you need better pictures, let me know. I did this fast on my camera phone because I'm getting ready to go somewhere. I have a container garden on my apartment porch that's doing pretty well. However, Saturday morning, I discovered that about half of my arugula plant (spelled wrong, I know) and half of my spearmint plant were randomly wilted. The other half of the plant (the upper half, I guess) looked fairly healthy. The only change in the environment I can think of was that there was a rain on Friday evening. It was kind of like a summer rain, though, nothing dramatic. I hadn't watered them much prior because they had gotten some rain earlier in the week and looked pretty good (soil wasn't dry, so forth). What can I do to help them? Or can I help them? I'm in Kentucky, which I think is Zone 6. They're getting a sunny day today. Pictures: And while I have your attention, when do you harvest leaf crops (stuff like spinach, and obviously arugula and spearmint) and how do you do it without killing the plant?
